Business Manager


The Business Manager (Line of Business Manager) is responsible for achieving the Line of Business’s Global annual revenue and profit targets. 

This is a senior, autonomous position which requires day-to-day focus on implementing the growth strategy, managing and growing the business in the various markets that Basebone has presence in and identifying global or multi-market opportunities for both disruptive and incremental growth while supporting the establishment and nourishment of excellent in-country MNO/aggregator relationships (at Senior level).

The LOB Manager must have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of every relevant aspect of the mobile Entertainment business, in particular in terms of customer acquisition and business development, both at the B2C and B2B level, and it is his/her responsibility to develop and implement the executional plans deriving from the LOB Strategy direction set by the Strategy Manager and Leadership team.

Additionally (critically), the LOB Manager is responsible for hiring, managing and motivating a team of Country and Market Development Managers, who will drive strategy execution at market level.


Responsibilities

Achieve Annual Revenue and Profit goals

Manage and motivate a team of highly skilled market specialists

Maintain a continuous focus on improving business performance

Support country and market development managers in exploring B2B opportunities, with support from the Strategy Manager

Establish leadership and authority for Basebone by representing the company in relevant industry events as necessary 

Engage and influence internal stakeholders to get buy-in for key initiatives

Produce progress reports as necessary


Minimum Qualifications

University degree by relevant University

10 years work experience

5 years experience in the mVAS business in a similar role

5 years experience in managing teams
